As a designer I would define myself as a buffet of enthusiasm and tenacity, held together with an “I can do that!” attitude.

My practice(s) are defined by clever repurposing, function then form, and community building. I am driven by a relentless pursuit of personal growth and creative connection. Ultimately I want to create a legacy of fun in an industry that often feels overly serious.

Day-to-day this manifests itself in the handmade cup I drink my morning coffee from, in the monthly themed dinner parties I host, the ceramics practice I continue to cultivated, and every design project I take on.

After a lifetime of oversharing as a chatty Cathy, my communication skills are an accidental superpower that I leverage to create spaces where all people feel welcome.

I have a knack from system’s thinking and design. I used this skill to turn my passion of better fabrication-waste management into an four year long project centred around workshop waste system planning and user engagement. So if you ever want to talk trash, I’m your gal!

On a more serious note; I’m a graduate of the Toronto Metropolitan University School of Interior Design and survivor of a Zoom University.
